One thing I love about the Internet is how you can look up recipes so easily. There are times when I open Google and just type in whatever ingredients I have available, and voila! I get a recipe in no time. Cookstr is a site where you can search by ingredients, recipe, or even by a particular chef. You get a list of recipes, but the really cool part is that you can refine your search even more, by such parameters as cost, skill level, total time, and even things like “five ingredients or less”. It’s a simple, no-frills site but it’s useful for both beginners and experienced cooks. If you register at Cookstr you can save your favorite recipes on the site, so you don’t have to search for them in the future. There are lots of other features at this site, including a blog, and profiles of the chefs who contribute to Cookstr.
